CSpecial to "Northern Advocate ”l MANGONUI, This Day. The Minister of Public Worn?, the Hon. R. Semple, opened yesterday the new Mangor/i wharf. The structure, which is of concrete, has a length of 100 feet and a width of 40 feet, the approach being 100 feet long. The shed contains cool storage space for butter. The depth' of the mud entailed the driving of piles of 70 feet. At low tide 20 feet of water is provided at the berthage. Thus ships larger than those now using the port can be accommodated. Mr C. J.
