Dargaville Tourney
[Special to “Northern Advocate ”l DARGAVILLE, This Day. Four rounds were played before the semi-finals were reached in the Dargaville Bowling Club's one-day full rink tournament, in which 20 teams from Dargaville, Whangarei. Hikurangi and Kensington competed. Phillips (Hikurangi) beat McDermott (Dargaville) by 8 points to 7 and met Westwell (Hikurangi) in the final. The latter won by 11 points to 2.
