Exciting Finish At Portland
A close finish saw Old Boys the winners in a thrilling game at Portland. Old Boys declared with 147 for nine wickets. Portland started confidently, but. with 7 down for 34, they were in a sad state, and the later batsmen endeavoured to cover their wickets. With only a few minutes left the excitement was tense.
