In the annual match for the Swan Cup between full rinks from the various bowling clubs in the Whangarei County, played on the Whangarei greens on Saturday, the Whangarei rinks came out the victors. Results of the final games were: — Thompson, McLaren, Witham, Ferguson (Portland) 12, H. Weston, Lamb, Allan, Orr (Whangarei) 24. Holland, Gower, S. Williams, W. Williams (Portland) 18, Joyce, Farmer, Coote, Everett (Whangarei) 21. Competition Results Whangarei Bowling Club’s competition matches played during the week-end resulted as follows: Full rink championship, semi-final: Jones, Stead, Woledge, Marwick 22, beat H. Beehre, Morton, Brewis, W. Beehre 19. Marwick will now meet Wilding’s team, comprising Dennis, H. Wilson, Good and Wilding, in the final. Handicap pairs: Redmond and Clark 23, beat Gibb and Cox, 11; Blanshard and Roberts 20, beat Wyatt and Cutforth 11. Singles championship: Wyatt 19, beat Miller 15,
