British Cabinet Changes
LONDON. January 28. It is officially announced that the following changes have been made in the British Ministry:— Secretary of State for the Dominions—Sir Thomas Inskip. Minister for the Co-ordination of Defence. —Admiral of the Fleet Lord Chatfield. Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries.—Sir Reginald Hugh DormanSmith.
Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster. —Mr W. S. Morrison.
Paymaster-General.—Earl Winterton. Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for War—The Earl of Munster, who replaces Lord Strathcona, who resigned. Mr Morrison will assist Lord Chatfield. and answer for him in the House of Commons. Earl Winterton ceases to be a member of the Cabinet, but retains the secretaryship of the InterGovernmental Refugees Committee.
