Probable Cause Of Cancer Discovered

(Received 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, January 27. A physician at the Milwaukee Mercy Hospital, Dr. William Doern, announced to the hospital staff his discovery of a micro-organism which is “the probable cause of cancer.” The discovery is the culmination of research work begun in 1932. The' micro-organism has a special affinity to the sex cells of both animals and plants, and, with cultures of this micro-organism, malignant tumors have been produced in more than 100 animals.
