Auckland Metropolitan Show. Entries for the forthcoming Auckland Show close next Friday, and the Committee wishes to draw the attention of exhibitors to the very great help that they can render to the management by sending in their entries in good time. The cataloguing of entries demands a considerable amount of detail work; and delays seriously hinder the work of the staff. It is pleasing to note that entries are now coming in from all parts of the province* The pork and bacon pig section has been allocated very large prize money, and there is evidence that there will be keen competition in this section. 532
