[Per Press Association. Copyright.] WELLINGTON, This Day. The New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association has decided to challenge for the Davis Cup in the European zone. The team will consist of C. E. Malfroy (captain), D. C. Coombe (who will act as manager) ■ and N. V. Edw'ards. , The first in England now. Edwards in the holder of New Zealand singles championship. The first battalion of the Royal Scots arrived in Southampton today after nearly a year’s service in Palestine. The battalion suffered losses there numbering 14 killed and 42 wounded.
