Appointments of teachers were authorised at a meeting of the Auckland Education Board this morning, the list being a lengthy one in view of the commencement of another school year.
Northland appointments were:— Sole teachers. —Mr M. R. Jeffery, Omahuta.
Infant mistress.—Miss L. M. Tulloch, Kaitaia D.H.S. Assistant master. —Mr R. J. Webster, Hikurangi; Mr J. Rarity, Edgecumbe; Mr G. H. Maxwell, Kaitaia D.H.S. The following transfers have been made:—
Assistant mistresses. —Miss M, I. Laing, Onerahi; Miss A. T. Truman, Te Kopuru; Miss A. E. Dempster, Hukerenui South; Miss B. J. Beiliss, Kohukohu; Miss E. J. Anderson, Te Kopuru; Miss J. L. H. Cumpsty, Waimate North; Miss W. C. Snell, Peria; Miss A. M. Pearce, Rangiahua; Miss H. F. Phillips, Victoria Valley; Miss B. E. Potts, Dargaville D.H.S.
