Are travellers declining in road courtesy, or is youthful femininity losing its appeal in a blase world? A few days ago two pretty girl motorists met trouble in Kamo Road, when a tyre punctured; And not only was their appearance more than usually attractive, but they were wearing shorts, which further enhanced their natural charms, yet no less than 40 cars, the majority driven by presumably impressionable males, passed without offering assistance. Not that the girls were by any means helpless. Resourcefully they set to work and changed the wheel themselves, but the failure of other road-users to notice their predicament was a sore blow to their feminine pride.
