Week-End Sport At Russell
As a result of perfect weather all sports were fully represented at Russell on Saturday afternoon. As the championship stage Was not yet been ,• arrived at ; on the 1 croquet lawns or tennis courts, friendly games only were the order of the diay. The bowlers are a sljage further ahead and a challenge match for button honours w*as played between A. E. Neumann and J.. Sweeney, the former winning by 31 to 7, A team to represent Russell in the Buxton Shield matches, to be played at Kawakawa on Anniversary Day, was, selected as follows: A. Shallard, H. Rivers, H. Somerville knd H. Stonex (skip).
