Sheep Prices Rise At Kirikopuni
Messrs Alfred Buckland arsl Sons Ltd. report an average yarding at their Kirikopuni sheep and cattle sale on Monday. The cattle penned sold under fair competition, but the prices for lambs and aged ewes showed a rise. Medium weight fat Jersey cows made from £4 to £4 12/6; heavy boner cows, £2 15/ to £3 15/; lighter, £1 5/ to £2 3/; medium fat twotooth wethers, 13/9 to 17/2; store wethers, 13/G to 14/3; good fullmouthed ewes. 13/6 to 16': aged ewes, 3/4 to 8/6,
