LONDON, January 11. QLAIMING ATTENTION FOR THEIR DEMANDS FOR GOVERNMENT HELP FOR AGRICULTURE, 5000 FARMERS, DAIRYMAIDS AND LABOURERS PLAN TO MARCH ONLONDON ON FEBRUARY 1.

Petitions will be presented at Buckingham Palace, the House of Commons and the Mansions House.

A mass meeting at Ipswich carried a resolution as follows:

“Unless the Government takes steps to provide that our produce prices bear a fair relation to production costs, we pledge ourselves to do every. - thing to oppose the return of the National Government.”

The organisers of the march state that 50,000 farmers are willing to take part. “We do not want a riot, but anything might happen if they all went to London,” it was stated.
