Corporal N. Hill, formerly of Whangarei. and now at the Central District School of Instruction. Trentham, was a holiday visitor to Whangarei during the Christmas-New Year period.

Lawry, manager of -the South British Insurance Company Ltd., Dunedin, for the past eight years, has received advice from the head office of the company in Auckland of his transfer to Perth as manager for Western Australia. Mr. J. W. Normie, manager in Napier, has been appointed to a similar position in Dunedin.
