Hellaby Shield To Pukekohe
[Special to “Northern Advocate”*] AUCKLAND, This Day.
The Hellaby Shield was wen by the Pukekohe team in the Country Week cricket tournament for suta-associati’ons of the Auckland province, which concluded on Saturday. A match between Selwyn-Oraka and Rodney was won by the latter by 103 runs. Vipond, of Rodney, made 104 before he retired. The Auckland B eleven defeated a team representing the Auckland City and Suburban Cricket Association by
nine wickets in the final of the Auckland provincial championship tournament, played on Saturday and yesterday.
