MELBOURNE, December 28. In the Sheffield Shield match at Adelaide against South Australia, Queensland, in its second innings made 311 (Brown not out 174, Cook 55, Baker 43). Grimmett took three wickets for 96, Ward three for 106, and Cotton two for 62. South Australia, which made 462 in its first innings, won by an innings and 20 runs. At Melbourne yesterday Victoria beat New South Wales by four wickets.
