CONSULAR BAC MYSTERY
The Associated Press says that Sir Clair O’Malley, British Minister at Hendaye, arrived in London-to enable Viscount Halifax to hear personally the result of inquiries into the diplomatic bag mystery. , Sir Clair was sent to Burgos immediately after the incident. It is understood that inquiries have not relieved British embarrassment, resulting from the discovery of the plot, but Sir Clair O’Malley reported that there was no foundation lor stories of the arrest of British consulate officials.
