London Butter Market
(Received 9 a.m.) . LONDON, December 17
Prices for butter appreciated earlier in the week owing to a shortage of Australian stocks and the absence of New Zealand supplies, but the week ended quietly. Buyers are now digesting previous supplies. Heavy Accumulations are expected after the Christmas holidays, as 100,000 boxes of Australian, butter, which are arriving in the weekend, will be available for the Christmas trade, with which the first New Zealand arrivals since the waterfront strike will not clash. . Those are duo on February 23. Cheese is featureless.
Phenomenal mildness In the weather has resulted in a large increase in the production of eggs in Europe.
