[Special to “Northern Advocate."] HAMILTON. This Day. Five of the winners at the Waipa Racing Club’s meeting at Te Rapa on Saturday paid double figures. They were Little Ruse, Du Maurier. Nuipapa, Bachelor King and Royal Bachelor. Gascyne, a place-getter, also paid double figures. Nuipapa returned over a third of a century. The totalisator handled £41,196/10/-, compared with £36,089 last year, an increase of £5107/10/-. Concluding results:— Hack Cup Handicap, of 250 so vs.; one mile.—(l4-10) Nuipapa, 7.4. 1; (2-2) Royal Abb, 7.7, 2; (4-6) Balinavar, 9.8, 3. Seventeen other starters. Neck. Nuipapa aifcl Sirrom, and Royal Abb and Miss Lovelock were bracketed. Time: 1.48.

Flying Handicap, of 250 sovs.; six furlongs.—(6-7) Bachelor King, 7.0, 1; (2-1) Te Monowai, 7.7, 2; (1-2) Borland, 7.12, 3. Ten other starters. Neck; length. Time: 1.18.
Paterangi Handicap, of 175 sovs.; seven furlongs.— (6-7) Royal Bachelor, 8.7, 1; (1-1) Jack Tar. 8.9, 2; (14-17) Rulette, 7.12, 3. Sixteen other starters. Four lengths: half a length. Time: 1.32.
