It is hereby notified that it is the intention of the Whangarei • Borough Council to present to the Honourable iMinister of Internal Affairs an application under Section 170 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, asking that th 6 Council may, with ithe approval of the Minister, purchase land by instalments extending over a period not exceeding twenty years:— Description of Land. —Lot 1 D.P. 21112 being lots 1/2 Pt. 50 Plan W. 23 and Lot Pt. 1 Plan W. 14 of Allot. 1 Whangarei Parish Bank Dent and Robert Streets. Area.-—3 a. 2 r. 22 p. Total Purchase Price.—£2soo. Term.—lo years as from Ist December 1938. Repayment.—Equal annual instalments of £250 payable in April each year commencing Ist April 1939. Interest.—Three and one-half per cent, in respect of any portion of the purchase money that may for the time being be unpaid. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objection to or petition against the proposed purchase which they desire to lodge, within twenty-one days of the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
