Dance At Ruatangata
Teachers and committee o£ the Ruatnngata School are to be congratulated i upon the successful event which took place on Thursday night in the public hall. Centre of attraction for the children was u. splendidly decorated Xmas tree, upon which was suspended presents of a very useful nature for 50 children. Novel competitions for the youngsters included potato hockey, a potato bag race and dog and.bone. With the floor in excellent condition and to perfect music, dancing was greatly enjoyed. Messrs F. Drake and R. Thorburn were M.G’s. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr R. Doel and partner.'
Word has been received by Miss Betty Brown, pupil of Mrs Neale, that she has been successful in passing her Government examination.
