After 13 years of business in Whangarei, Mr Henry Wilson, draper, of Cameron Street, has found it neces-
sary 1o seek larger premises. His now building in Cameron Street is modelled on the latest lines, and has been fitted to cope with Mr Wil-
son’s growing number of customers. With a 24-foot frontage, and measuring 180 feet deep, the new building is a fine addition to Whangarei’s business area. The top floor is used for bulk storage, a portion being sot aside for a ladies’ cloakroom, this bein';; for (he public benefit. Attractive Design. Most attractive designing effects have been used in fashioning the front of the building, 'and Messrs Kemp and Rennie, to whom the rebuilding contract was let, have made a first-class structure out of previously unpretentious shops. Rc-opening in. his new surroundings at the commencement of the Christmas shopping period, Mr Wilson has already felt the result of his “Advance” policy. His large staff has been kept exceptionally busy since the new building was occupied, and indications are that the rush will continue. A special feature of the shop is the ladies’ showroom, one of the finest of its kind north of Auckland and comparable with city shops.
