COURTCRAFT DISAPPOINTS.
'OOURTCRAFT made his first ap-
pearance as a four-year-old when he raced at the recent Woodyilje meeting, and he was frankly disappointing. He will have to improve considerably to hold his own in weight-for-age company at Auckland. A horse of his class and galloping powers should have done better than finish sixth after being in a good position at the home turn. No doubt the racingwill have a beneficial effect, but his Woodville form leaves a doubt as to whether Courtcraft is as good as was thought last year.
