Sydney Wool Sales Close Firmly
(Received 10 a.m.) ' N SYDNEY, December 15. At the wool sales to-day, 11,354 bales, were offered, and 10,550 were sold, as well as 1020 privately. __ Keen competition marked the closing of the auctions, with increased activity from Yorkshire and Japan. The market closed very firm. Greasy Merino made 21Jd per lb. The sales will resume on January 2.
