Spotlight 0n.... Chiang Kai-shek
Marshal Chiang Kai-shek , who is still regarded' as the key Vo the military situation in China. General Bartholomew, commanding British forces in China, says Japan can never win while Chiang is at the head of ,the Chinese Government. Marshal Chiang Kai-shek has had a picturesque career, culminating in his appointment as head of the Chinese Government and Generalissimo. At the moment his whereabouts are unknown to the world at large, but his influence is strong.
