Land’s End To Visit Whangarei

A visit will be paid to Whangarei by the yacht Land’s End, which sailed this morning on the first stage of the return voyage to Durban, j Captain H. Jeffery, the owner of the , Land’s End, will be accompanied by Mrs Jeffery, to whom he was,married : in Auckland in August, 'and her 10-year-old daughter, Helene Hansen, a ; boarding pupil at the Diocesan High j School. ! Two members of the crew, Mr C. j Cadenhead, of Durban, and Mr J. I Warden, the young Englishman who j joined the vessel at Tahiti, will reimain in Auckland. Mr C .Wilson, of j Port Elizabeth, South Attica, one of '.the original crew, Mr W. Compton, of j Auckland, Mr D. Ashton, of Whangaj rci, 'and G. Cook, of Tonga, will sail with the Land’s End. | The Land’s End will call at Wha- | ngarei and Russell on the way north , and then sail for Tonga.
