Tepid Swimming Bath

At the annual meeting of the*Whangarei Amateur Swimming Club the suggestion was pu 4 forward that a tepid swimming bath 'hould be erected in Whangarei as a suitable centennial memorial. Unfortunately the suggestion seems to have fallen upon stony ground. Certainly no more has been heard of it. Undoubtedly tepid swimming baths would fill a very real need in the community, would contribute in no small measure to the good health of the people as a whole and would certainly be a form of memorial in which all could find pleasure. Will anything be done about it?—“Winter Swim.”
