Government Control Of Honey Marketing
[Special to “Northern Advocate .” 3 AUCKLAND, This/Day. With the question of Government control of the honey industry still in the balance, the Control Board h'ad important matters to discuss when it met Mr F. R. Picot, director of internal marketing, in Auckland this morning. The meeting was held in camera and all that the chairman made public w'as “that the meeting was called for the purpose of considering marketing problems generally, and also discussing various resolutions passed at the recent national conference of producers held in Timaru and at other producers’ meetings." It is understood, however, that a complete plan for marketing honey this season Was submitted for the board’s approval.
