[Per Press Association. — Copyright.] OTAKI, This Day. The Otaki-Maori Racing Club’s spring meeting was held on Saturdayi The totalisator handled £15,133/10/-, compared with £15,524 at the spring meeting in 1937, a decrease of £390/10/-. Results:—
Ling Memorial Handicap, of 200 sovs; nine furlongs.—(i) Lucullus Lad, 8.8, 1; (3) Dorado. 7.10, 2; (6) Good Sun. 7.0, 3. All started. Three lengths; a neck. Time; 1.58.
Pahiko Hack Handicap, of 110 sovs.; six fui'longs.—(4) Vadahoe, 8.4, 1; (6) Mother-in-Law, 7.10, 2; (1) Rowan a, 7.13,3. All started. Two lengths, a length. Time: 1.18. Katihiku Hack Handicap, of 110 sovs.; seven furlongs.—(4) Rustem, 8.0, 1; (3) . Trebor, 8,3, 2; (6) Earl Colossus, 8.4, 3., Scr.; Sigurd, Pirinoa, Dame Flora. Two lengths each way. Time: 1.31 2-5.
