Parakao Settlers’ Ball
Very successful was the ball given by the settlers of Parakao last Monday. The residents had spared no effort in organising the function, and the hall was tastefully arranged. About 400 or 500 dancers were present, the guests of honour being the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates and Mrs Coates. Mr S. Alison made an efficient M.G., while excellent music was provided by Ces.
