IPer Press Association. Copyright! CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
‘My attention has been drawn tp- a statement made by Mr W. J. Mead, National candidate for Dunedin Central, in which he states that the Labour Government has entered into an agreement with the Master Bakers' Association by which the price l of bread is going to be increased, onq of •the terms being that the decision, shall not bo disclosed until after the election,” said the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, yesterday. “This is a false attack upon the and absolutely without foundation. The Government has not considered any suggested increase in the price of bread.”
