A New Song Hit

Impressed by the tremendous popularity of the song. “Rosalie,” No. 1 hit number on the radio chains, William Anthony McGuire, producer of “The Girl of the Golden West.” has included a title song number in the new Jeanette MacDonald-Nelson Eddy operatta. The new song, “My Girl of the Golden West” was composed and written on the assignment by Sigmund Romberg and Gus Kahn, who also wrote eight of the other 11 numbers sting in the picture by Miss MacDonald, Nelson Eddy and Buddy Ebsen.
