National Party Bring-And-Buy At Russell
A successful “bring and buy” afternoon, organised by the secretary of the . Russell branch of the„National Party, Mrs V. W. Lindauer, and held on Vjfedr: nesday, added the sum of £5/12/8 to the party election funds. All sorts of home and garden produce, articles of clothing and novelties, ■ adorned the trading table, presided' over by Mrs Lindauer and Mrs E V M_ Donaldson. Mrs A. Cook ahd Mrs G. N. TarrantHosking attended to the afternoon ifips,, The mystery parcel competition was won by Mrs Cook. An energetic committee, comprising Mesdames V. E, Lindauer, F. Baker, S. Adamson,' A. E. Neumann and G. N. Tarran t-Hosking, is working hard in preparation for a social evening, at which there will alsobe a trading table.
