Tree Of Friendship

What has now become an annual function in connection with the Whangarei Rotary Club, which, for some time past, has each year planted 1 a pohutukawa tree at the entrance drive to the District Hospital, was again celebrated this week, when the District Governor of Rotary in New Zealand, Rotarian G. W. Hutchinson, presided over, a tree-planting ceremony. This was witnessed by a considerable number of Rotarians and members of the Hospital Board and staff. As visitors to the hospital know, the trees which have been planted by Rotarians in recent years give promise of making wonderful sight in the days to come.
