Kupe Club “Mothers' Night”
Mothers and friends were entertained by Hikurangi members of the Kupe Club on Wednesday evening last in the Parish Hall. Games and items —both mass and individual—made up a most enjoyable entertainment, “A gorgeous night,” was the way one parent described the function.
Competitions arranged during the evening resulted: Putting the tail to the pig, winner, Marcia Stubbing; travelling parcel. Marcia Stubbing; “shooting,” Agnes Cochrane; musical parcel, Valerie Blake.
Supper was served by girls of the club.
