Ultimatum Denied By Berlin
LONDON, September 28. Reuter’s agency states that a denial of the ultimatum comes from the official German News Agency but it is impossible to obtain further information, as most of the correspondents have left Berlin. The prolongation of the respite beyond Saturday has been rejected, says the Berlin correspondent of the “Manchester Guardian.” A report is current in Paris that the negotiations now centre on a plan to appoint an international commission to define the Sudeten front immediately. This would enable Herr Hitler to fulfill his pledge to take possession of the territory on Saturday. By special arrangement.
