Good Wool Sale At Sydney
SYDNEY, September 28. The Sydney wool sales were resumed today. Offerings totalled 17,515 bales, of which 15,230 were sold, 1501 bales privately. There was keen general competition, particularly from Yorkshire, with good support from the Continent and Japan. Greasy merino made to 16d per lb.
The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews has decided to restrict to 14 the number of clubs a player may carry, says a message from London.
