LONDON, August 28. The Grand Lodge of Freemasons of are affected by borer. Only 189 out nouncement: “In view of statements recently issued, which distorted or obscured Freemasonry’s true object, it is considered necessary to emphasise that the Grand Lodge has always and consistently refused to express any opinion on questions of foreign policy, either at home or abroad. It will not allow its name to be associated with any action, however humanitarian it may appear to be, which infringes its unalterable policy of standing aloof from every question affecting relations between one Government and another, or between political parlies, or questions regarding rival theories of Government.”
