Kirikopuni Factory To Close
[Specmi to “Northern Advocate .M DARGAVILLE, This Day.
By a majority of 518 votes, Northern Wairoa suppliers favoured the closing of the Kirikopuni factory, according to a postal ballot conducted on Saturday, The voting was 395 votes in favour of the closing of the factory, and 377 against closing. The question was discussed at the annu'al meeting of suppliers in July, when a requisition was made to the Governor-General that a posilal ballot by taken in conjunction with the election of directors, and this course was followed on Saturday,
