Managers appointed by the Whangarei Rugby Union at its meeting on

Tuesday for the? representative teams that will be playing on Saturday were;—Brake Shield team (junior reps.), Mr M. Snow; fourth grade, to play Marist (Auckland) in Whangarei, Mr Collingwcod; light juniors, to play Suburbs (Auckland) also in Whangarei, Mr C. Dent. On September 3 the Kamo fourths will play the fifth grade representatives to be selected by Mr L. Garry. It was decided to. play the remainder of the football matches at Kensington Park this season. On Saturday Pipiwai will meet Country United for the final of the senior B subsidiary competition, these teams being even and having played a drawn game when they met last Saturday. •

For its work in promoting school football and especially for the organisation of the tournament being held in Whangaref • this week, the union is congratulating the North Auckland Primary Schools’ Rugby Union.
