Leading Junior Side Beaten
What would undoubtedly have been an interesting and exciting junior contest was spoiled by the bad weather conditions when Old Boys and Onorahi, the two top-rungers on the Junior ladder, met at Rugby Park. Onorahi suffered defeat by the narrow margin of throe points to nil, but still have a point up.their sleeves. Neither team seemed able to set any pace, the backs having a day off. It was a game for the forwards only. At half-time no score had been registered for cither side, and the same position held half-way through the second spell. It fell to Weston. Old Boys' fast winger, to score the only try of the game. Making a fast run from about the 25-yard line, he dived over for a fine try. It was impossible to kick from the difficult angle, and the game ended with Old Roys leading 3-0.
