Level Crossing Again

\ Special to "Northern Advocate.'] PALMERSTON N.. This Day. Tho West Street level crossing. Palmer; ton North, was the scene of another fatality just before midday on Saturday, when a light sedan car was involved in a collision with a north-bound passenger train. The only occupant of the car was killed ia.itright. The victim was:— Mr Arthur Gray, farmer, of Okoia. near Wanganui. According la accounts of eye-wit-nesses, two cm's were waiting on the crossing fur the oncoming train lo pass, when that driven by Mr Gray came no behind. Instead of drawing in at 1 lie rear of the others, he apparently went to the left and attempted to cross, but the train by that time already was on the crossing. The car was completely wrecked.
