SYDNEY, July 31. Rebel Chief was unplaced in the Kogarah Encourage Stakes, and Normal was unplaced in the Flying Welter, at the Moorflold Racing Club's meeting yesterday. Lending jockeys in New South Wales for the season ended yesterday were E, Barilo, 92 wins and three dead-heats; E. McMonamin, 91; W r Cook, 74 wins and six dead-heats; D. Munro, Cl and four deadbeats; M. McCarten, 50 and three dead-heats; J. O’Sullivan, 50 and two dead-heats. D. Munro held the best percentage. The trainers’ list is headed by J. King, with 34 firsts and one dead-beat. P. Cush secured 34 wins; C. Russell. 26 and one dead-heat; J. Noud, 25; J. T. Jamieson, 23; G. Price. 20 and one dead-heat.

The New Zealand-bred Desert Chief ran third to Aitchengee and King Gee in the Glen Orla Handicap at the Moonee Valley races yesterday. Midacre was unplaced in the A. V. Hiskens Steeplechase.
