In the Mahoetahi Handicap, Macadally fell and broke a leg, and was destroyed. Concluding results:— Mahoetahi Handicap, of 140 sovs; one mile and ,a quarter.—(l-1) Tidewaiter, 8.3, 1; (4-4) Iddo, 8.2, 2; (2-2) Chat, 9.8, 3. All started. Won by five lengths; length and a half. Time, 2.21 3-5. Te Arei Steeplechase, of 160 sovs; one mile and a quarter.—(6-6) Red Mint, 9.0, 1; (2-1) Lady Callaghan, 9.0, 2; (5-5) Even Money, 9.0, 3. Scratched: Cynical Kid, Booklaw and Liberal Star. Won by a neck; six lengths. Time. 5.30 2-5. Otaka Handicap, of 135 sovs; eight furlongs and a half.—(3-3) Orac, 7.7, 1; (2-1) Ned Cuttle, 9.0, 2; (4-4) Student Prince, 7.4, car. 7.8, 3. Scratched: Ohanga, Winsome Lu. Won by three lengths; two lengths. Time,'l.s6 1-5. Morere Handicap, of 125 sovs; six furlongs.—ls-3) Amoroso, 8.0, 1; (7-6) Te Huia, 8.8, 2; (4-4) Pekoe, 9.1, 3.
