Wellington Defeat Wairarapa
[Per Press Association. Cooyright .] MASTERTON, Tills Day. Making full use of all chances, the Wellington Rugby representatives defeated Wairarapa yesterday afternoon by 27 points to 12, Apart from the superior speed and combination of the Wellington backs, which carried the day, there was little between the teams, and territorially play was even. The Wairarapa forwards were on top practically throughout, and they completely dominated play in the lineouts and set scrums, while their short swift foot rushes invariably spelt disaster for the visitors.
