' j ; j The death has occurred of Mrs j Mary Moore, of Brisbane Street, j Grey Lynn, at the age of 84. She i was born 'at Glasgow and before comj ing to New Zealand married the late |Mr J. McCorquindale, who took up [ land at Kawakawu. Later they moved jto Opuawhanga, near Hikurangi, j where Mr. McCorquindale died. His widow subsequently m'arried the late Mr. R. Moore, and after his death she I resided for seven years at Thames. For j the past 20 years Mrs. Moore had lived | in Auckland where she was for m'any ' years an active member of the Salvation Army. Four o Mrs. Moore's J sons served during the great war | and three were killed at the front. ! She is survived by three daughters and i ‘ two sons.
