N.S.W. Ministry Disturbed
(Received 10 a.m.) . ■ SYDNEY, July 10, A section of the press in Sydney hints that all is not well with the New South Wales Ministry. The origin of the trouble was the reconstruction of the Cabinet on April 13, when the Premier, Mr B. S. Stevens, dropped Messrs. F. A. Chaffey, Colonial Secretary, and J. B. Shand, AssistantMinister, both of whom are very bitter and have a number of staunch supporters in the Government party.' These latter are suggesting that Mr E. S. Spooner, Minister of Public Works, should replace Mr Stevens, in order to restore confidence in the leadership of the Government.
