Miss G. V. Conner, of the Karitane Harris Hospital, Dunedin, was today appointed by the Whangarei Hospital Board as sister for the children’s ward. The appointment of Dr. D. C. L. Clay, of the staff of the Waipukurau Hospital, to be assistant medical superintendent of the Whangarei District Hospital, has been approved by the Minister of Health. Dr. Clay will take up his new duties about August 10.
