Southland Farmers On Tour
f Special to “Northern Advocate.”! AUCKLAND. This Day.
A party of Southland farmers, comprising 220 people, including 81 women, who are making a tour of the North Island, arrived from Taranaki by the New Plymouth express on Saturday morning. They left for Arapuni and Rotorua yesterday.
Yesterday the party was taken on a tour of Auckland and the suburbs, seven large omnibuses being employed. The leader of the party is Mr A. R. Johnston, and Mr E. K. Sim is deputy-leader.
