Bay Children’s Agricultural Clubs
The annual meeting of the Bay of Islands group of children’s agricultural clubs was held in the Waimate North school on June 29. Officers elected were;—President, Mr. H. T. Atkinson; representative, Bay of Islands A. and P. Association, Mr. W. -E. Bedggood; representative, Farmers’ Union, Mr. H. Hatrick; secretary. Mr. C. R. Oliver; committee, headmasters of all schools in the group. The financial statement showed a credit balance of £3/19/6. A special prize of £2 is to be awarded this year for the school gaining the most points in the calf club section at the Bay of Islands show at Waimate North in November.
